LearnAbility instructors provide more than standard tutoring. They address gaps in background knowledge, ask students to demonstrate their understanding before advancing to the next concept, and cultivate academic independence by orienting students to and instructing them in resource utilization.

Our Tutoring Program

Tutoring students come one to three times per week or on an as needed basis for any subject(s) in which they are struggling. Tutoring services are billed hourly at the end of the month.

Our Intensive Tutoring Program

Intensive students are LearnAbility's niche. Intensive students are often high school and sometimes middle school students who are underperforming in several subjects or who have weak study skills. Most of the students in the intensive program have mild to moderate learning challenges.

Intensive students receive direction in studying and homework and are held accountable for being productive while they are at LearnAbility's offices. During the school year, these students attend LearnAbility 15 to 20 hours per week. They remain at the office until they have completed all of their homework and studying thoroughly and accurately. Intensive services are billed by the month at the beginning of each month for which a student will attend LearnAbility.
